Our team replaced the legacy system used by the city’s 311 with a Salesforce solution. The overhaul provided a more collaborative and intuitive backend for city staff, a public-facing web-based Community Portal, and the City’s first-ever constituent-facing mobile app. In this endeavor, we sought to revolutionize the delivery of government services by bringing interdepartmental cooperation, transparency, and community engagement to the forefront.

Chicago Department of Finance IVR/OFPC

To close all real-estate transactions within the City of Chicago, a Full Payment Certificate (FPC) is required. Our team worked with the City of Chicago Department of Finance to bring the FPC process off an outdated and manual system and onto a modernized, fully online platform. The modernization of the FPC process increased online applications over 72% and decreased the number of days to complete the process by nearly 10 days.

The CDA sought to automate the payment process for Midway International Airport’s Daily Parking Lot. Our team worked closely with the CDA to ensure they met their goals and were fully PCI compliant in the process. Through detailed assessments, intense collaboration with third-party vendors, and continuous reporting activities, Midway’s automated payment process was found fully compliant.

The CDA manages Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway International Airports. Since 2012, we’ve worked with multiple CDA departments and 25+ external vendors to provide custom application development, 24/7 support and more. One of our biggest initiatives was the redesign and redevelopment of their public-facing website, Flychicago. In close collaboration with the CDA, we developed a modern and responsive website that met the latest needs of the organization.

Illinois Tollway

Catalyst worked with Jacobs to implement SAP Business Suite at the Tollway. In this endeavor staff executed an analysis offering best practices for SAP implementation, and identified and outlined risks for implementation strategies and/or decisions made by the project team. Our team is still there today leveraging expertise in the technical and business process optimization realms to facilitate the Tollway’s continued excellence in customer support with increased flexibility and transactional capabilities.
